Tribute to our Fallen Heroes

November 2017

On Friday 10th November our Academy fell silent for two minutes to reflect upon the meaning of Armistice Day and Remembrance Day. The service was held outside in our new memorial garden with members of our Academy Council in attendance to represent students in all year groups.

King James Wins Active Durham Sports Award

November 2017

King James I Academy has recently won an award in the ongoing Active Durham competition. The Academy was declared local winner in the Secondary School category for outstanding contribution to Sport, Physical Activity and Physical Education.

Media students make donation to If U Care Share Foundation
