Year 10 students in GCSE Art have been studying different cultures and producing artwork inspired by their learning.

Working with Art Teacher, Mr Collingwood, the group studied the colours, shapes and techniques of a variety of cultural styles and were encouraged to create their own creative piece influenced by the one that inspired them the most. Outstanding results were achieved based around traditional oriental and african themes, plus aboriginal and oriental fantasy art with a focus on chinese dragons. Mr Collingwood said, “I am so impressed with the time and effort the boys have taken with their work.
