At King James, Miss Goddard, our dedicated Careers Adviser, not only provides one-to-one advice to students in all year groups, but she also organises a wide range of events and practitioner talks.

This week, a series of speakers from a variety of organisations visited us to talk to Year 10 students. Representatives came from GlaxoSmithKline, the Royal Air Force, Ford Aerospace and Hathaway Roofing, alongside practitioners from the fields of architecture, podiatry, hair and beauty and engineering.

Students were able to select and sign up to attend sessions of personal interest to help them begin considering their career options for the future. Following an informative talk, they had plenty of time to ask questions.
