Cooking classic croque monsieur in Gusto Lingo

Students enjoyed a French themed buffet with cheese tasting.

In the final Gusto Lingo of the half term, students learned how to make the classic French dish, Croque Monsieur, and enjoyed a cheese tasting.

Gusto Lingo is a fun after school club, run by our Food & Nutrition department, which allows students to develop both language and cooking skills in practical sessions. As part of the club pupils learn how to prepare classic French and Spanish dishes from recipe cards which are written in the relevant language. They also learn about the culture of the country and therefore enjoy an all-round experience.
