Students prepared bags of sweets with positive and inspiring messages.
As part of World Mental Health Day, we organised a host of activities at break and lunch time to help raise awareness of the importance of taking care of our mental health and wellbeing.
Prior to the event, our team of Student Ambassadors prepared sweet treat bags with hand written notes containing positive thoughts and messages. We know that open communication and positive thinking is crucial to our mental wellbeing, and students wanted to play their part in sharing some positivity.
Students and staff across the Academy also showed their support for World Mental Health Day by wearing something yellow, the colour chosen as a symbol for the event; students added ribbons and headbands to their hair and pin badges to blazers.
