Sixth Form catch-up sessions

March 2021

Sixth Form teachers have arranged a timetable of Easter holiday sessions to help students in Years 12 and 13 revise for forthcoming exams, catch up on coursework and gather quality evidence which will be used for teacher assessed grades.

Smooth and efficient lateral flow testing

March 2021

Sixth Form students have received their third lateral flow test today in school and will now move onto home testing kits, which will be provided by us. Other year groups will follow shortly.

Donation to If U Care, Share Foundation

Students and staff at King James I Academy raised £70 for the North East charity, ‘If U Care Share’, which offers a full range of services to help prevent suicide and support families who have been affected by suicide.

Feeding Families this Festive Season

As part of the school’s annual Christmas fundraising programme, students and staff at King James I Academy have been collecting food donations to support the North East based charity, Feeding Families. The charity provides food hampers to families in need across the region.
