As part of our Sports Academy, in partnership with Shildon AFC and Bishop Juniors FC, KJ1 Sixth Form students have the opportunity to learn and train as part of our Elite Football Academy.

Receiving training by experienced coaches, students could progress along our unique "Partnership Pathway" to become a Footballer at Northern League level or beyond, while studying for their Level 3 qualifications.

Students may study the Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma in Sport and Physical Activity (equivilant to 3 A Levels) but may study other subject combinations if they wish. 

Alongside the academic qualifications students will have the coaching opportunities and qualifications, physiotherapy experience at Shildon AFC, refereering opportunities, sports media, photography and sport experience, and paid work.
