Year 12 A-Level Maths student, Iwan M has once again, celebrated success on the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust's follow-on 'Senior Kangaroo' round.

A team of Year 7 students have won first place in the North East Regional Final of the 'VEX IQ Robotics Competition'. They will now compete in the National Finals at the NEC in Birmingham. This prestigious final is being held as part of the 'Big Bang Science Fair', which runs from the 16-19th March 2016.

As part of our "Artists in Residence' learning programme, professional Artist, James Paterson has recently spent the morning with Sixth Form and Year 11 Art and Design students.

We have recently celebrated the hard work of students in Key Stage 3 with an 'Accelerated Readers' Harry Potter event in our Library.

Each academic year, our students, parents and staff work together on a variety of fundraising projects to show our support for our local, national and global communities. We are proud to announce that our current total stands at an impressive £1,708.29!

On Thursday 3rd March, staff and students will be celebrating World Book Day 2016 by taking part in a variety of special events organised by our Library.

Our Robotics Enrichment Programme was launched as part of our commitment to driving forward STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). The project is now hugely popular and growing.

A record number of our Sixth Form students have applied for University this year and all have now received excellent offers.
