Year 9 Food Technology students have been taking part in Mrs Lamb's "Swiss Roll Challenge'. In this fun activity, students have just one hour to make and decorate a swiss roll without adult assistance.

This month we welcomed Kayleigh Atkinson, who was recently crowned 'Mrs Galaxy UK 2019', to our Academy to deliver motivational assemblies on body positivity.

This month, as per King James' tradition, we helped our Year 11s celebrate the end of exams and their 'uniform years' with a Leavers' Barbeque.

In the coming weeks, pupils from four local primary schools will be participating in a literacy-based project called the "King James Book Awards'.
