Year 9 and 10 Athletics @ Shildon Athletics Track (22/06/23)

Year 9 boys finished 1ST, year 9 girls finished 8th and year 10 boys finished 6th.

Year 7 and 8 Athletics @ Shildon Athletics Track (13/06/23)

Year 7 boys finished 10th, year 7 girls finished 7th, year 8 boys finished 5th and year 8 girls finished 7th.

Year 8, 9 and 10 Athletics District Trials @ Shildon Athletics Track (09/05/23)

Students from year 8, 9 and 10 competed against other students from local schools for the chance of qualifying for the County Championships on the 10th June.  Three of our year 9 students qualified with Oliver Smith winning the 300m and the high jump, Callum Sutton winning the shot putt and Danny Rutherford qualifying for the javelin.  Fahryn Brown in year 10 also qualified by winning the javelin.  Well done to the everyone that took part and qualified.

Year 7 Boys Sportshall Athletics County Durham School Games @ Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre (16/02/23)

After winning the local event the year 7 boys went to compete against schools from the local area such as Tanfield, Durham Johnston, Easington Academy and Whitworth Park.  King James finished fifth overall.

Year 7/8 Girls Futsal Regional Finals Tournament @ Easington School (15/02/23)

The team qualified for this event after winning the last local tournament.  The team did extremely well and finished second overall.

Year 7 Boys Futsal Tournament @ Durham Johnston (14/12/22)

The team remained unbeaten the entire tournament drawing with Parkside 1-1, beating Wolsingham 1-0 and drawing with Durham Johnston 0-0.  As a result the team were runners up on the night.

The team finished 3rd overall.

Drew 1-1 against Wolsingham, Parkside and Durham Johnston.  Lost 3-1 to Bishop Barrington.

Year 7/8 Girls Futsal Tournament @ Durham Johnston (15/11/22)

Champions!!! Beat Durham Johnston 5-0 and Whitworth 3-0 in the group stage.  Beat Teesdale 3-1 in the semi-final and then beat Durham Johnston 2-1 in the final.  They will go on to represent Bishop Auckland District in the next round.
