This week, Year 7 pupils were delighted to reunite with their former Headteachers and Teachers at a special event which was organised to let them show off the excellent work they have been doing since joining King James in September.

As part of our ongoing charity fundraising programme, students and staff baked and bought a wide variety of sweet treats for a Bake Sale, which was held as part of Children's Mental Health Week 2025.

Year 5 pupils at St Andrews Primary School have completed a Mini Medics training course as part of our Primary Outreach Programme.

On Thursday 13th February from 4.30pm - 6.00pm, we will be holding our first ever Valentine Party for students in Years 7 and 8.

Every year at King James, we support Children's Mental Health Week. This year, from 3rd-9th February we will adopt the theme of 'kindness' and encourage our students to carry out simple acts of kindness across school.

Year 7 students who have been recognised with a Gold SLT award for their fantastic achievements in Term 1 have enjoyed a special reward event at Mrs Collinson's Reward Store.

Emotions are a natural part of life and all young people will experience challenging feelings at some point, but it’s important to learn how to process these feelings in a mindful way.

In Design Technology lessons, Year 7 students have been working on a project to design and construct packaging and complementary point of sale displays for chocolates.
