Students See Football and Music Unite at Old Trafford

June 2015

Fifteen students in Years 7 and 8, accompanied by Mr Laybourn, have returned from a fantastic fundraising event at Old Trafford, which saw music and football unite in one of the most iconic stadiums in the UK. The "Manchester Legends Game' raised funds which will go towards Manchester United Foundation's work in the community.

On Monday 27th April, 20 students in Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 will depart from King James to take part in the annual OAA trip to Ullswater in The Lake District.

Twelve Sporting Weeks on the River

Students have been working with Durham Amateur Rowing Club (DARC), which has recently been nominated for Club of the Year, to complete a 12 week introductory course in rowing and water safety. The group were trained by professional rowers, Bethany Yates and Debbie Connolly.
