At King James I Academy, we are committed to fostering a spirit of compassion, social responsibility, and community engagement in our students. Through our charity and community work, we aim to make a tangible difference locally and beyond. Last year alone, our students and staff raised over £10,000, and we have currently raised £3,600 for local charities including If U Care Share, The Glove Project, The Angels Trust, and Teenage Cancer Trust.

We fundraise through bake sales, sponsored silences, and a variety of engaging events, allowing our students to actively contribute to causes that matter to our community. Beyond fundraising, we are proud of our community work, which includes holding events and exhibitions, collaborating with nursing homes and local businesses, and linking up with different groups to create meaningful partnerships.

Additionally, part of our fundraising supports opportunities for our students to participate in international projects, helping them gain new perspectives while positively impacting communities abroad. Every effort we make reinforces our belief that education extends beyond the classroom and that small actions can create lasting change.
