Each week, we centre our assemblies and Thought for the Week around a personal development theme. These themes are carefully chosen, varied, and closely linked to fundamental British values. At King James I Academy, our assembly programme reinforces our Academy values while supporting students’ moral, social, spiritual, and academic development, making a significant contribution to their overall growth. On Fridays, during tutor time, Thought for the Week provides students with the opportunity to reflect on current issues, engage in discussion and debate, and confidently share their views and opinions.
