Our Annual Prize Evening is one of the highlights of our school calendar, attended by hundreds of students and their proud families. This year will be very different as we will be streaming the event!

Sixth Form students have received their third lateral flow test today in school and will now move onto home testing kits, which will be provided by us. Other year groups will follow shortly.

Each year, World Book Day celebrates the power of storytelling and the pleasure that reading brings us by giving young people the opportunity to access a book for free. This year World Book Day is on Thursday 4th March.

During the half-term holiday, a group of Year 9 students organised their own baking competition inspired by the popular TV show 'The Great British Bake Off'.

Our wonderful Key Stage 3 Geography students have been spending time in creative catch-up week completing an artistic challenge.

During the half-term holiday students and staff took part in a walking initiative which was the concept of our Head Boy and Head Girl, Adam and Freya; both are in Year 12.

After a week working through the many sets on the Duolingo competition, our languages teachers are proud to announce the winners.

Key worker students in Year 7 have been working on an exciting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) project in school with Mr Wheatley.

Key Stage 3 RE students have been taking part in a fun ‘Podcast Challenge’ set by Mrs Cross.

Later this month The Northern Echo will be publishing an ‘Education Matters’ supplement and part of this will include a special photographic feature of pupils and teachers home schooling.
