Science Teacher, Mrs Lumley-Imerson has launched a Virtual Science News Room in Google Classroom for students to develop their knowledge and skills by keeping up with all the latest industry news.

Students can read up to date science news articles and pupils in Key Stage 3 can take part in a termly news reporter competition to write a scientific article with the potential to win a prize. Winners also receive a gold rewards card and get their names displayed on the physical news board in the science corridor which is called The Weekly Scientist. Autumn and Spring Term winners, pictured right, are Eve H, Alice B, Kai S and Alisha G.
