In Drama, Year 8 students have been responding to the emotional impact that the conflict in Ukraine could have upon families.

We have all seen the distressing scenes on the news and heard the tragic stories of families fleeing their homes to escape the conflict in Ukraine. Working with Miss Howard, students in Year 8 have been expressing their feelings through performances in class, using aspects of drama practitioner, Brecht to influence their work through symbolism and placards. Results were extremely moving and an excellent demonstration of how empathetic our students can be.
