Corridors near our Food Department have been full of delicious cooking smells this week as Year 11 students have been working on their practical exams.
Students were challenged to plan and prepare a nutritionally balanced two course menu around a bistro theme. The finished result was judged on nutritional value, taste and professional presentation, and students did a fantastic job of producing meals that could easily be included on a restaurant menu.
Sadly, we are unable to show the finished meals until exam results are confirmed but will release photos to celebrate achievement as soon as possible.
