Students of key workers who are attending school throughout lockdown have been learning through Lego.

Year 8s were given a selection of ‘Lego Learning Challenges’ to complete to get them thinking about Maths, English and Science in a creative way with challenges all relating to core subjects.

The English tasks were designed to get them thinking about structure, and how they structure their writing and answers to questions, whilst the maths and science tasks got students to look at fractions and states of matter through the means of Lego bricks.

Students had lots of fun and the challenges helped them to look at their work from a different perspective.
