In July, we will be celebrating comic books in our Library with a special event and competiton for students called 'Word Warriors'.

The competition involves students creating a single page "Word Warrior' comic, with a unique character and plot, and should they need a little inspiration, they can browse the range of internationally produced comics which are available in our Library. The comic book section, which features traditional style comics alongside a collection of Japanese Manga, is much loved by students of all ages, including Year 7 student, Daniel H, pictured here.

The event has been organised in response to numerous student requests since the whole school took part in an excellent event last year to celebrate 'International Comic Book Day'. We look forward to seeing the competition results!
