Our lunchtime Chess Club is especially popular with Key Stage 3 students who are developing their skills with every game.

The club takes place in our busy Library, which plays host to a growing number of clubs and special events. Chess is a highly strategic game which promotes critical thinking, memory and problem solving skills, and it is also a great way to relax due to its calm and reflective nature. All students are welcome to attend in our Library from complete amateurs to the more advanced players.
