Students in Mrs. Glen's GCSE Maths Year 10 class have been investigating the link between the Fibonacci sequence and the Golden Ratio.

As part of the lesson students took facial measurements to see which aspects of their faces most closely corresponded to the golden ratio. The golden ratio, 1:1.618, is a ratio that humans perceive as visually appealing. This ratio can be found in paintings by Da Vinci, designs of supercars, DNA molecules, hurricanes, snail shells, flower petals, and of course the human body.

Some students in the class were delighted to find that they were over 95% within the golden ratio, with one being 100%!
