Students and staff at King James have united in support of the BBCs Children in Need fundraising event, and as a team we have raised an astonishing £804.84!

Funds were raised in three ways; firstly both students and staff paid £1.00 to dress casual for non-uniform day, which got the event off to a great start. At breaks and lunchtime, we held a cake sale with a selection of cupcakes, cookies and doughnuts donated by staff, and all items quickly sold out. There was also a fun activity to cover a cut-out of Pudsey Bear with coins, which was so popular it had to be cleared and restarted three times!

We would like to thank everyone for their generosity, especially in the current economic climate. Children in Need is a very worthy cause and we are proud to have contributed to the national total.
