16 year old Anthea Parsley has been recognised by Durham County Council for her outstanding 100% attendance record achieved during her five years at King James.
A special event, held at St. James' Park for students and their families, rewarded both Primary and Secondary school pupils across the county who had not had even a half day of absence from school. Anthea was one of only 20 school pupils invited to attend the presentation evening, which included a guided tour of the NUFC grounds and an official presentation of a certificate and trophy, followed by a celebration dinner. She was accompanied by her family and King James staff members Dion Raitt and Danny Wales.
Anthea has now left King James as she has secured a position at Thorn Lighting where we are sure she will prove to be a most reliable employee! We send our congratulations and wish her the best of luck for the future.
