Once again, our annual Prize Evening event was a great success, with over a hundred families attending King James to celebrate our award winners.

Together, we celebrated the achievement and efforts of students in all year groups and in all subjects, with pupils nominated by their form tutors and subject teachers. Prizes were awarded in the Year 7 Rising Stars category, to those students who have shown particular promise since joining King James in September 2025. There were also special prizes for our most talented athletes, and senior prizes for our highest achievers in specific subjects.

Our special guest speaker for the evening was David Shearer, former Teacher and Head of Sixth Form, who recently retired after 31 years at King James, and visitors enjoyed live entertainment from our talented music students in two of our Academy bands. Congratulations to all of our prize winners.
