Grace B worked on a stop motion animation project in Media to help promote a new extra-curricular club.
Each year, our Year 12 students take part in Work Experience Week, with placements in a wide range of sectors.
In 2025, students worked in a variety of healthcare, childcare and education environments in and around Bishop Auckland, alongside charity organisations and local businesses including T and B Properties, ATAG Design Ltd, Octopus Energy, T Manners & Sons Ltd, BGW Contractors, Cre8ive Graphics and Sew Fabrics.
Students also worked in Darlington Football Club and Shildon Sports Academy, and within departments at King James. Grace B, pictured here, worked within Media on a stop motion animation project to promote a new extra-curricular club; and Alyssa S was a huge help in our Library as she logged and categorised books.
