In the last week of term, an excellent time was had by competitors and spectators alike at our Year Group Sports Day events.

Field events took place prior to our track days, with students taking part in Shot Putt, Discus, Javelin, Standing Broad Jump and Standing Triple Jump. Track events including 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m and the 4 x 100m relay then followed over three days.

At the Year 7 Sports Day event, the trophy was won by Miss Howard’s form group with 121 points overall; and Miss Armstrong’s form group claimed the trophy in Year 8 with 117 points. In the Year 9 event, the winning form group was Miss Ward’s with an impressive 134 points at the end of the day; and the Year 10 winners were Mr Blood’s form group, who ended the day on 100 points. Well done to all of our competitors and congratulations to the winners.
