Year 11 students have raised £220 by taking part in a sponsored Colour Run. All money raised will go towards the Year 11 Prom in July.

The unusual event, which was organised by Head Girl, Ashleigh B, involved an untimed fun run with participants doused in bright, colourful powder at various points along the course. Colour runs are inspired by the Hindu festival of Holi, and the emphasis is on enjoyment rather than winning.

The run was great fun for both the participants and for those throwing the powder bombs, especially as one of the runners was Deputy Headteacher, Mr Longstaff! Students intend to use the money for decorations or activities to help make the 2025 Prom extra special.
