Following our Year 8 boys victory in the Level 2 Games held at Bishop Barrington last month, our team have recently represented the Wear Valley and Teesdale area at the Level 3 Games at Spennymoor Leisure Centre.

Gateshead College 0 - King James I Academy 1. A 12 player football squad from King James have travelled to Gateshead International Stadium for their North East Colleges League fixture against Gateshead College. The early season encounter between the two sides had seen King James take all three points, with a more recent fixture resulting in a share of the spoils.

Media students in Years 10-14 have recently raised over £250 for charity by taking part in a six hour long Sponsored Silence. The event was the latest in a programme of fundraising activities which have been organised by the team since November.

On a sunny March afternoon our King James Sixth Form squad travelled to Eastbourne Sports Complex in Darlington to play against a Darlington College team who they had narrowly lost out to by the odd goal the month earlier.
