King James I Academy Golf Team have won the British Heart Foundation Junior Golf Championship, which was held at Close House Golf Club where Lee Westwood is the tour professional.

The team played magnificently and gained victory despite facing tough competition from many other clubs and schools. Year 11 student, Shane W was outstanding; scoring 45 points he went on to win the award for Best score of the day'. Daniel W made 32 points and Daniel H 28 points, contributing to the overall team victory.

Congratulations to all three players for a fantastic day of golf and a memorable victory that they should all be very proud of.
