Year 7 student, Stacey-Jo R is celebrating winning her latest trophy as she represented Shildon Amateur Boxing club in a bout against Easington.

Inspired by her older brother who was already a member, Stacey-Jo joined Shildon ABC three years ago, initially because she wanted to learn self defence techniques. However, she quickly discovered a talent for the sport and a real passion for competition, which is now paying off with wins in the ring.
