Sixth Form Media Studies students are currently producing a selection of short documentaries on a variety of fascinating topics.

Topics range from investigative pieces on why so many young people are taking up vaping when they have never previously smoked cigarettes, to thought-provoking documentaries on the rising cases of sexual harassment and covid conspiracy theories.

Students have developed a host of creative ideas and taken full charge of their production. They have sourced personnel, locations and music, booked equipment, considered H&S issues, written scripts and begun gathering footage which will be edited in the later stages. These tasks allow students to develop industry skills whilst increasing their independence.
