Students will visit the Gothic Cathedral of Santa Maria in Palma, also known as La Seu.

Sixth Form students in Media, Art and Photography are looking forward to an educational visit to the Spanish island of Majorca in early October.

Accompanied by Miss Davies, Director of Learning for Media Studies and Miss Ackers, Director of Learning for Art, students will be staying in the beach resort of S'Arenal, which is very close to the beautiful capital city of Palma. With planned visits to Palma Cathedral, Bellver Castle, the Caves of Hams, C'an Pastilla, Placa Major Square, Parc de la Mar, S'Hort del Rei gardens and Arenal Craft Market, plus visits to a variety of restaurants and time at the beach, it will certainly be an action packed cultural experience.

These departments offer an international opportunity for their students every year, and previously students have visited Venice, Barcelona and Malta. In September 2023, Media and Photography departments joined forces for a return visit to Barcelona with great success and as a result, they have opted for another joint venture in 2024.
