Students in Years 7-13 have taken part in our annual Careers Fair event, which was attended by representatives from over 40 organisations, colleges and universities.

The event is organised each year by our dedicated Careers Adviser as part of our Personal Development Programme for students. We have found that considering options from an early age helps to raise the aspirations of our young people and allows them to work constructively towards achieving their goals for the future.

This year, organisations included the NHS, Durham Constabulary, Armed Forces, BHP law, Nissan, GSK, Hathaway, South Shields Marine School, Gestamp, MGL Group, Livin Futures, Durham County Council and many more. A number of colleges and universities also joined the event including Darlington, Newcastle, East Durham, Northumbria, Sunderland, Leeds Beckett and Teesside.

This year, many representatives had organised a range of interactive activities for students to get involved in, all of which proved to be a huge success. All left the event with information to study and discuss with their parents at home.
