Year 7 athlete, Byron C is celebrating success after qualifying for the County Cross Country Championship in January 2022.

Students in Years 7 and 8 took part in the Inter-school Cross Country Championship at Barnard Castle School. All showed great resilience and determination against a high quality field of runners on a challenging course, and were a credit to King James, however it was Byron who celebrated success. As a result of finishing tenth in his race, Byron has qualified for the County Championship which will take place in January 2022.
