Year 13 Performing Arts students have finished their course with a bang! In a spectacular performance, they fused together acting with physical theatre to create a new interpretation of the musical Chicago.

At the beginning of the year, our Business Studies Department launched and exciting project which allowed primary school children to learn about building a successful business through a range of creative challenges.

Each year, over 800 school children across the country take part in the Panathlon "mini Paralympic' multi-sport challenge. Here at King James we are always keen to take part.

Last term, GCSE Geography students took a trip to Seaham coast to carry out data collection to fulfill the applied fieldwork enquiry aspect of their course.

A total of 33 students in Years 7-10 have just returned from an exhilarating five-day Outward Bound experience to Watermillock in Cumbria. This year, due to the popularity of the trip and the increased demand for places, we took more students than ever.
