On A'Level results day, Sixth Form students, Brooke, Adam and Freya met with Shadow Secretary for Education, Bridget Phillipson to discuss the challenges they had faced as a result of Covid-19.

Ms Phillipson visited King James to congratulate students on their exam success and talk to them about how the pandemic and school closures had affected their education. She was particularly interested to hear how they had coped emotionally with learning from home.

After the meeting, Students were interviewed by a reporter from ITV and later appeared on ITV's News at Six. Brooke, Adam and Freya are all now continuing their studies at university.
