Art reward trip to Yorkshire Sculpture Park

30 Art students in Key Stage 3 have been rewarded for their effort in the subject with an end of year trip to Yorkshire Sculpture Park in Wakefield.

Students were chosen to attend the trip for working above and beyond in lessons and demonstrating a passion for Art.

Yorkshire Sculpture Park is an open air museum featuring over 100 world-class sculptures and installations set in the 500-acre, 18th-century Bretton Hall estate. The collection comprises of long and short term loans, including four major Damien Hirst sculptures, gifts from artists and individuals, and site-specific commissions. Students were also able to enjoy a wide variety of artwork at the gallery exhibitions, a picnic lunch and a fun challenge to find specific sculptures around the park.
