At only 15, Year 10 student, Paige Marshall, is showing all the traits of TV maths queen Carol Vorderman. After sitting her GCSE Maths almost two years early, Paige has already achieved an A*.

Paige was among a number of Year 10 students that we chose to enter for the exam because we felt confident in their ability to achieve early success. We were right and now, 39% of the year group already have a top grade GCSE in Maths. Daniel Burton, Amy Connell, Katie Graham, Sophie Humphry, Ben Murphy, Natalie Simpson and Kathryn Walker also achieved fantastic results with Grade A's and the majority of the remaining entrants attained a Grade B. With well over a year of study left, you'll agree that these are highly impressive results.

Success in Maths continued as some of our students went on to take part in the "UK Mathematics Trust's (UKMT) Intermediate Mathematical Challenge', which is aimed at the top third of pupils across the UK in Year 11 or below. All of our students achieved the Silver Award, which is a major achievement and something that students can feel very proud of,and Daniel Burton, in Year 10, received an additional UKMT certificate for "Best in School'. Congratulations and well done to them all.
