Year 7 students have enjoyed their first drop down study day to practice using revision clocks as a tool for reinforcing and embedding their learning.
A revision clock is an effective study tool that helps students break down any topic into manageable chunks for revision. It can help students condense their learning into personalised, shorter notes and interleave their topics; this creates a much deeper understanding.
The technique can be used in all subjects and the freedom to personalise a revision clock with colours, charts and drawings ensures that students are fully engaged. In Modern Foreign Languages lessons, pupils learned French terms for family members and relationships with great success.
