This year, for safety reasons, our Sports Day took place over three days to allow for individual year group events, and although on a much smaller scale than usual, students still had a great day and competed with enthusiasm.

To maintain year group bubbles our PE department did an excellent job of organising separate events for Years 7, 8 and 9. Students still took part in all of the usual track and field events including 100m, 200m, 400m and relay races, alongside long jump, high jump, javelin and shot put. Individual winners for each event were presented with a medal and the winning form group collected a trophy to display in their classroom. The winning Year 7 form group was Mrs Kelly’s; she is pictured here with representatives from the group as they collected the trophy.
