A group of students and leaders from our RTS Theatre Group have recently returned from a week-long trip to Paris. The students had been specially selected to attend the trip as a reward for their outstanding work and commitment to the group.

The group of 14 stayed in a beautiful house in Giremoutiers, which lies just outside of Paris. They spent the first day in the glorious Parisian sunshine playing a variety of team building games and choreographing some new dance routines including one that Year 6 primary school students will be learning during Believe & Achieve visits and Year 5 Curriculum week.

The following day the group visited Disneyland Paris, where they got to meet some of Disney's most popular characters, shop in Main Street and ride the amazing rollercoasters that Disneyland has to offer. They also explored the city centre and took advantage of a photo opportunity in front of the Eiffel Tower before trying some of the local delicacies, including snails, in a traditional Parisian restaurant, pictured above.

It was an incredible trip overall and one which we now hope to make an annual event. The aim for RTS as a group is to fundraise in order to make this trip possible for more students in 2020 and beyond. This will build upon the amazing ground work that this group have established.
