Around 100 Year 8 students visited Rof 59 for an action-packed afternoon.

Our students work hard throughout the year and achieve great things through dedication and effort. Our Reward Day recognises students with an excellent attitude to their studies and homework, alongside a good attendance and behaviour record.

Firstly, a veritable army of 120 Year 7 students visited Fountains Abbey near Ripon. The Abbey is one of the largest and best preserved ruined Cistercian monasteries in England.

Next, 100 students in Year 8 had a fantastic time at 'Rof 59' in Newton Aycliffe when they enjoyed Trampolining, Rock Climbing and Laser Quest, whilst a total of 75 students in Year 9 were treated to a thrill-seeking trip to Lightwater Valley where they braved a variety of white-knuckle rides including 'The Ultimate'!

Finally, around 70 Year 10 students enjoyed a day at the beach at South Shields. They spent time in 'Marine Park' and on the rides at 'Ocean Beach Pleasure Park'.
