As part of their BTEC studies, Sixth Form Music student have been collaborating with 11 Media students to produce a music video for a reworked version of the hugely popular Bruno Mars hit, Uptown Funk.

Following hours of rehearsals to perfect the performance prior to the filming, Music students joined their Media peers on a visit to Teesside University, where all worked alongside degree students on the project. Not only was this an excellent opportunity for Music students to experience studio-based performance and the video production aspect of the industry, but Year 11 Media students were also able to work with the state-of-the-art camera, lighting and sound recording equipment that Teesside Uni has to offer.
