To mark the end of their time at King James, and the beginning of the next chapter in their lives, Year 13 students, teachers and support staff gathered together to enjoy an afternoon barbeque and buffet in the sunshine.

The Sixth Form Team organised an impressive event for our graduates, with great food, music and student awards. It offered the opportunity for everyone to share memories and to reminisce about their experiences at King James, especially the staff who have watched our young people develop from shy, 11 year olds in Year 7 into confident young adults with amazing futures ahead of them.

Many of our leavers will be starting degree courses at Universities across the UK in September. They have been accepted onto a diverse selection of courses including Geography, History, Politics, Film & Media Production, Primary Education, Events Management, Business Studies, Performing Arts and Computing. Others will be attending college courses to gain recognised trade qualifications or taking up apprenticeships in our local area.

Mr Shearer and our Sixth Form Team would like to wish all of our leavers great success in the future.
