The groundworks for our multi-million pound new building are now complete and every day sees rapid progress as the steelwork emerges and our state-of-the-art academy takes shape.

Following initial delays whilst plans were amended and finalised, the project is now well underway and we can begin to admire and appreciate the sheer scale of our new two-storey facilities.

At this stage, classrooms have been allocated to allow teachers to begin planning their learning space, internal decor has been confirmed, and we have devised a schedule to co-ordinate the move into our new classrooms in January. The move into the new building, which will see the end of phase one, will be carefully managed to ensure there is as little disruption to academy life as possible.

Phase two, which involves the refurbishment of middle school both inside and out, and of our dinner hall, which will become a creative hub and gallery for Art and Media, will begin in January. This will be followed by extensive landscaping and the construction of outdoor recreation areas and sports pitches, which will enhance our new sports facilities even further.
