Following on from an excellent performance in the Year 7 Cross Country Championship race at Teesdale School in November, Ben M was chosen to represent South West Durham at the County Championship race, held at Meadowfield.

Delighted to be there, Ben had been looking forward to the race for a couple of months but sadly he picked up an injury halfway through the race and was unable to complete. Despite this disappointment Ben should be very proud of himself for qualifying to represent the County; hopefully he will take this race experience forward and return again next year.
