The newly elected Prefect Team will represent their peers and the Academy for the next year.

Following our Annual Academy Election, our Head Boy, Head Girl and Prefect Team have now been appointed. The successful candidates will serve their peers for the next year.

This year there were more candidates than ever, especially from our current Year 10 students, who were competing for the coveted position of Head Boy and Head Girl.

The process involved students organising their own election campaign in the run up to the main event, and canvassing support before delivering a presentation in our Main Hall to communicate their proposals for improving student life should they win the election. Presentations were heard over two days for both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 audiences, followed by private voting, and results were announced on day 3 of the event.

Alice Hindmarch and Euan Elliott, were appointed Head Girl and Head Boy, along with a team of Prefects from all year groups, who will represent both their peers in communicating new ideas and putting forward proposals for improvement to our Senior Leadership Team, and also represent our Academy at the many Open Evening and Primary School liaison events which take place throughout the academic year.

We would like to congratuate all of our candidates on their excellent campaigns and look forward to working with them in the coming year.
