Staff and students have raised £367 for Macmillan Cancer Support at the much-loved annual Coffee Morning event, which was organised by members of our Sixth Form Team.

Each year, our Sixth Form Mentor, Linda Dixon, and Careers Adviser, Anne Goddard work hard to lay on a fantastic spread with both sweet and savoury treats which are baked and bought by both staff and students. This year, they were delighted to receive an additional donation of cakes and pastries from Kelly Louise Rutherford, who works for the non-profit organisation, ‘Little Chefs, Big Chefs’ at St Helen Auckland.

Not only was the event an excellent way to raise money for a very worthy cause but it was also a great opportunity for our staff and students to socialise at break and lunchtime when the Common Room took on a bustling tea party atmosphere. Thank you to everyone who baked, bought and ate!
