Another year of excellent results!

Rebecca H and Lia B both celebrated excellent A' Level results and are looking forward to university.

Despite the huge challenges faced by our young people in the past year, we are celebrating yet another year of excellent exam results in all A’ Level, GCSE and vocational subjects.

There were a large number of notable achievers amongst our Sixth Form students; Rebecca H, who is now beginning a Degree in Chemistry achieved A* in Chemistry and grade A in both Maths and Psychology; and Lia B celebrated a Distinction grade in Human Biology, Distinction* in Business Studies and a grade A in Criminology. Katie F achieved A grades in both A’ Level Biology and Psychology, plus a Distinction* in Health & Social Care; Beth H celebrated a grade A in Criminology, a Distinction in Human Biology and Double Distinction* in Health & Social Care; Gabriella R achieved a Distinction grade in Human Biology, a Distinction* in Health & Social Care and an A* in Criminology; and Emily R celebrated A grades in both A’ Level Psychology and Geography and a Distinction* in Health & Social Care.

Achievement in Sport was impressive across the board but Kaci S and Lauren B both celebrated Triple Distinction*. Likewise, Creative Media students achieved excellent results but Logan L attained a Triple Distinction* alongside a Double Distinction* grade in IT; he is now embarking upon a Degree in Film and TV Production. Amelia C, who is now beginning a Degree in Professional Policing, achieved A grades in A’ Level Criminology and Extended Project, a Distinction in Human Biology and grade B in Religious Studies; whilst Emily H celebrated Distinction grades in both Human Biology and Applied Psychology, a Distinction* in Food Science, grade A* in Art, grade A in Photography and grade C in Geography.

Year 11 students also celebrated outstanding results with many achieving a high number of top grade 9s including Zoe M, Jake D, Nathan D, Liam P, Cameron D and Sophie F. There were excellent results in all subjects with much to celebrate in Triple Science and Maths but some, including French, Statictics and Photography, celebrated 100% pass rate at grade 5 and above.
